Souls in jars of pickled gherkins, a beastly bat and a door into the next world in the living room – there’s nothing in Scary Harry’s cosmos that isn’t there. Sonja Kaiblinger sends Otto and his bony pal into a new adventure, which contains a few surprises.
What happens in Vol. 2:
There’s a plague of ghosts in town! Various kids in Otto’s class are suddenly being haunted, and a dead Spanish bullfighter is trying to make himself at home with Otto and his aunt. Three house ghosts and a talking bat are already more than enough – Otto really doesn’t need another resident ghost. But where have all these forgotten souls come from? And how to get rid of them, now?
Suddenly a mysterious salesman turns up, peddling a spray called ‘Anti-Ghost’ to the haunted folk in town. Somehow, Otto thinks that the whole set-up stinks (in the truest sense of the word). Fortunately, Grim Reaper Harold has given him a good contact in the underworld.AWARDED:
