Katja Reider

Katja Reider was born in 1960. She studied German literature and media science in Göttingen. She created her first picture book during a particularly rainy vacation. By now she has published several books for children and young adults that have been translated into many languages. She lives in Northern Germany with her family.

Diplom-Designerin Silke Voigt arbeitet seit 1996 als freiberufliche Autorin und Illustratorin im Kinder-, Schul- und Sachbuchbereich mit vielen deutschen Verlagen zusammen. Sie hat ein fünfjähriges Grafikdesign-Studium mit dem Schwerpunkt Illustration absolviert. Im Anschluss daran erwarb sie in einem zusätzlichen Studium der Malerei ihr Examen in Freier Kunst an der Kunstakademie.
