Michael Petrowitz
Michael Petrowitz was born in Berlin and studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). He has been working as a screenwriter since 2000 and as a lecturer in screenwriting/dramaturgy since 2008. Petrowitz was also a scholarship holder at the Screenplay Workshop Munich and the Academy for Children's Media. In 2005, he was awarded the Robert Geisendörfer Prize in the children's television category. In 2017, he was awarded the "Preuschhof Prize for Children's Literature" for his first-reading adventure "Kung-Fu im Turnschuh".
