Henriette Wich was born in Landshut in 1970 and she grew up with six siblings and three cats. For as long as she was a child, she has been enjoying coming up with stories. After she got her degree in German language studies and Philosophy she has worked in the editorial department of children’s books publishers. She has been working as a freelance author of children’s and juvenile books for several years now. 11 nephews and nieces provide her with enough material for her books.

Lisa Althaus
Lisa Althaus wurde im Vorarlberger Rheintal geboren, wo sie auch heute wieder lebt. Sie besuchte ein Jahr die École de dessin in Paris, studierte dann Grafik in Wien an der Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst und anschließend an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München. Nach vielen Jahren in München zog sie mit ihrer Familie zurück in die Berge. Dort arbeitet sie in ihrem Atelier unter einem hundertjährigen Lindenbaum als freie Malerin und Illustratorin.
