Anna Taube, born 1976, has studied German and English language and literature. She initially worked at a publisher of travel guides in Cologne. Later she primarily focused on writing. She now works as a freelance author and translator. She, for example, translated non-fiction books such as the Superbrain comics. And one of her most succesfull children's book series' is "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". Anna Taube lives in Nuremberg with her family.

Barbara Korthues studied Illustration and Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster. She later completed her studies in Painting at the Art Academy of Münster. During her studies, she began working for various children's and young adult book publishers and has since published numerous books.
