Michael Petrowitz Patrick Fix

Als Kind wollte Patrick Fix Meeresforscher oder Tierfilmer werden. Doch dann folgte er seiner anderen großen Leidenschaft – dem Zeichnen. Nach dem Abschluss zum Grafik-Designer arbeitete er als Cartoonzeichner, Storyboarder und Design-Zeichner. Heute illustriert er fast ausschließlich Kinder- und Jugendbücher. Er lebt und arbeitet in Freiberg am Neckar und verbringt seine Freizeit am liebsten mit seiner Familie beim Wandern, Radfahren oder Tauchen.

Michael Petrowitz

Michael Petrowitz was born in Berlin and studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). He has been working as a screenwriter since 2000 and as a lecturer in screenwriting/dramaturgy since 2008. Petrowitz was also a scholarship holder at the Screenplay Workshop Munich and the Academy for Children's Media. In 2005, he was awarded the Robert Geisendörfer Prize in the children's television category. In 2017, he was awarded the "Preuschhof Prize for Children's Literature" for his first-reading adventure "Kung-Fu im Turnschuh".
