A magical wolf in the Silver Forest

Lupo the wolf is the guardian of the Silver Forest. When he grows old, he appoints his son Hakon as his successor. Hakon's brother Konu is not at all happy about this. Wherever possible, he sets traps for Hakon and turns the other forest animals against the wolf. Hakon gets help from Noki the mouse. But what Konu doesn't know is that Noki has a secret. Will justice prevail and Hakon become the guardian of the Silver Forest after all?

Barbara Rose is an author of books for children and young people and a journalist. For over ten years, she made up stories for television and presented programmes for children and young people on the radio. She now works as a freelance author and can do what she enjoys most: writing books and reading them aloud. She lives near Stuttgart with her husband and four children.
