Anni Möwenthal was born in 1991 in Cape Town. She moved to Germany, her father’s homeland, to study journalism and began writing stories for children. Nowadays, she is almost always traveling. She loves exotic animals—but only in their natural habitats—and spends much of her time on expeditions in the world’s remaining forests, where she gathers inspiration for her work.

Philipp Ach, born in 1993, studied illustration and design at Münster University of Applied Sciences and HAW Hamburg. He now works as a freelance illustrator in Emsland. He illustrates games, books and everything that lets little adventurers immerse themselves in fantastic and strange worlds. When he's not working, he enjoys his time gardening or playing a good board game.

Johnny is at a loss. Cars are being broken into and things stolen from them in the playground of his school! And not only that: in the cars there are always objects that belong to him: his pen, his cap ... but he has nothing to do with it! The teachers and his foster parents are not much help. On the contrary, they believe that he did it! What is he supposed to do? Luckily, Samira, a girl who goes to the neighbouring primary school, helps him. Samira knows her stuff! She knows that detectives work with fngerprint powder, and she‘s really clever. Together they set out to fnd the car thief and try to prove Johnny‘s innocence.
