For over ten years, she made up stories for television and presented programmes for children and young people on the radio. She now works as a freelance author and can do what she enjoys most: writing books and reading them aloud. She lives near Stuttgart with her husband and four children.

Anna Taube, born 1976, has studied German and English language and literature. She initially worked at a publisher of travel guides in Cologne. Later she primarily focused on writing. She now works as a freelance author and translator. She, for example, translated non-fiction books such as the Superbrain comics. And one of her most succesfull children's book series' is "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". Anna Taube lives in Nuremberg with her family.

Betina Gotzen-Beek
Betina Gotzen-Beek was born in 1965. Already in kindergarten she discovered her love for painting and drawing. After travelling Europe she studied art and graphic design and eventually became a children's book illustrator. She currently lives with her family in Freiburg.
