Eva Hierteis, born in 1972, dreamed of writing books as a child, but never got beyond the third page. That has since changed. After studying literature and working for a children's book publisher for several years, she has finally fulfilled her dream and is now fully dedicated to writing. She lives with her family in Nuremberg.

Mareikje Vogler kommt gebürtig aus dem schönen Münsterland, machte dort eine Ausbildung zur Mediengestalterin und arbeitete anschließend einige Jahre in der Werbung. Später studierte sie an der Animation School in Hamburg Trickfilm und arbeitet seitdem als freischaffende Illustratorin. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in Hamburg.
