Annette Neubauer Michaela Heitmann

Michaela Heitmann wurde Weihnachten 1969 geboren und hat schon kurz nach der Geburt die Wände mit Babyöl bemalt. Damit war der Weg für ein Grafik-Design-Studium an der Kunstschule-Alsterdamm-Hamburg vorgezeichnet. Und da sie gern malt und studiert, absolvierte sie noch ein Illustrations-Studium an der Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (HAW) in Hamburg. Seitdem arbeitet sie für verschiedene Verlage. Wenn sie nicht malt oder studiert, stellt sie mit ihren Kindern im Garten Käfern nach, schwingt das Tanzbein beim Ballett, krault durch die Schwimmbahnen oder steht auf einem Pferd.

Annette Neubauer hat jahrelang Kinder mit Lese- und Rechtschreibschwierigkeiten sowie Rechenschwäche in eigener Fachpraxis unterrichtet. Während dieser Zeit veröffentlichte sie Lernmaterialien und erste Kinderbücher. 2010 wagte sie den Sprung und lebt seither als freie Autorin in Köln. Ihre Bücher wurden in über 20 Sprachen übersetzt. Wenn sie nicht am Schreibtisch sitzt, ist sie auf Lesereise.
