Lulu and her beloved donkey Leo are so excited! They are about to start school. In Lüddensee, children are allowed to take their pets to school. But now Lulu’s best friend Melina is sick and Lulu has to leave without her. Fortunately, she immediately makes friends with two nice girls in her new class. They show her around the school farmyard and, together with Lulu, make plans about forming a team to look after the animals. But then Lulu learns that these girls are actually Melina’s arch-enemies! Lulu is desperate – until Leo and Lolli, and even a couple of crazy geese, come to her aid...

Julia Boehme

Julia Boehme studied literature and music and afterwards worked as an editor for a children's TV programme. One day she remembered that as a child she had wanted to become a writer. Right away she decided that from now on she was going to be a writer exclusively. Ever since she is creating new stories for television and writes children's books.

Lisa Althaus

Lisa Althaus wurde im Vorarlberger Rheintal geboren, wo sie auch heute wieder lebt. Sie besuchte ein Jahr die École de dessin in Paris, studierte dann Grafik in Wien an der Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst und anschließend an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München. Nach vielen Jahren in München zog sie mit ihrer Familie zurück in die Berge. Dort arbeitet sie in ihrem Atelier unter einem hundertjährigen Lindenbaum als freie Malerin und Illustratorin.
