Franziska Gehm was born in 1974. She studied English, psychology and intercultural economy communication in Jena, Limerick and Sunderland. After finishing her studies she worked at a grammar school in Denmark, for a German radio station, and in a publishing house. She lives and works as an author and translator in Munich.

She promoted her series for young readers at several events with live readings, book signings and interviews. In a blog she gives monthly reports of a half-vampires life and publishes interviews with characters from the book. Absolute hilarious!

Since June 2010 the Vampire Sisters have got their own micropage www.die-vampirschwestern.de where you can find information on the series, the author and events as well as the blog and some specials for fans.
