What is wrong with the two half-vampire sisters? Silvania grows facial and really long armpit hair, and Daka has huge and ugly spots on her forehead. Of course both are in the middle of their puberty. But that is not all: A pupation ritual on their 13th birthday will decide if they will live their further life as humans or as vampires. Therefore Grandma Zezci wraps them in a blanket out of llamaskin and puts them somewhere on a secret tree which is the main part of the ritual. Unfortunately on her way back home Grandma flies against a window and loses her memories and of course also where she has dropped off the two girls. Oh dear! But Daka and Silvania can count on their friends Helen and Ludo, and in the end they have a great birthday party and the best present ever: They can stay half-vampires.
