Amelie Benn Kerstin M. Schuld

Kerstin M. Schuld hat schon als Kind gewusst, was sie am liebsten macht: „Platten hören und malen“. Trotzdem studierte sie nach dem Abitur zunächst Jura bis zum ersten Staatsexamen. Dann machte sie sich als freischaffende Tier- und Naturmalerin selbstständig und absolvierte ein Fernstudium zur Grafikerin. Über diese Umwege kam sie letztlich zur Kinderbuchillustration und veröffentlichte 2002 ihr erstes farbig illustriertes Kinderbuch. Viele weitere sind diesem inzwischen gefolgt.

Amelie Benn was born in 1974 in southern Germany. During her studies, she lived in Nepal, Israel, and England. There she visited many magical places and collected ideas for her stories. Today she lives with her family in the Schiller town of Marbach.
