
Jens Carstens
Jens Carstens, who was born in Radevormwald (NRW) in 1971, lives with his wife and daughter in Wedel near Hamburg. At the age of seven, he started playing the drums and piano. At Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, he studied popular music. The passionate musician, composer and producer has played with Rolf Zuckowski, Rosenstolz, Udo Lindenberg and Tony Christie among others and is currently successfully on tour with Helene Fischer and Heinz Rudolf Kunze. "Quentin Jellyfish - The Moray Has a Migraine" is his debut as a picture book author.

Heinz Rudolf Kunze
Heinz Rudolf Kunze was born in 1956 and studied German literature and philosophy. He is now a rock singer, songwriter, lyricist for musicals and novelist, and a lecturer at the University of Osnabrück. His most successful single was ‘Dein ist mein ganzes Herz’, and many of his albums have reached Gold status and gained numerous awards He has also been a cultural ambassador for Niedersachsen.

Julia Ginsbach
Julia Ginsbach was born in Darmstadt in 1967. She studied Musicology, Arts and German and got a degree from the Institute for Children’s and Teenagers’ Books Research in Frankfurt on the Main. Today, she lives in an old parsonage in the North of Germany with her family, numerous pets and loads of colours, brushes, paper and books.
