Martin Baltscheit

Martin Baltscheit, geboren 1965, studierte Kommunikationsdesign an der Folkwangschule Essen und arbeitet heute als Illustrator und Autor von Bestsellern, wie z. B. „Die Geschichte vom Löwen, der nicht schreiben konnte“. 2011 erhielt er für sein Bilderbuch „Die Geschichte vom Fuchs, der den Verstand verlor“ den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis. Auch seine Theaterstücke und Filme wurden ausgezeichnet, etwa mit dem Deutschen Jugendtheaterpreis und dem Deutschen Kurzfilmpreis. Martin Baltscheit lebt mit seiner Familie in Düsseldorf.

Claudia Weikert

Claudia Weikert wuchs auf dem Land mit verschiedenen Haustieren auf. Ein Esel war leider nicht dabei, aber sie gehören zu ihren absoluten Lieblingstieren! Wären Esel stadtwohnungsgeeignet, hätte sie mittlerweile einen zuhause. Tierisch zugehen darf es auch in den Geschichten, die sie für verschiedene Verlage illustriert. Claudia Weikert arbeitet und lebt mit ihrer Tochter und ihrer Eselersatz-Katze in Wiesbaden. PS: Sie kann einen lauten Eselsschrei fast originalgetreu nachahmen. Das macht sie am liebsten ohne Publikum - weit draußen auf einem einsamen Hügel …
