Rebekka Weiler
Rebekka Weiler wrote her first (and rather short) novel at the age of ten and has never stopped developing emotional stories with depth and authentic characters since then. On her travels to Scandinavia, she fell hopelessly in love with Sweden and visited all the places that the Broken Artists call home. She herself lives in southern Germany, where she works as a teacher. When she's not working on a new book, she enjoys reading, painting, swimming, or listening to the same songs for hours on end. His lyrics speak louder than a thousand words.
After a difficult breakup, Yva desperately needs to find a new apartment – a real challenge in Stockholm. That’s why the vacant flat next to her best friend’s shared apartment seems like the perfect solution. What she didn’t expect: gentle guitar sounds drifting through the wall one night. Fenn, her reserved neighbor, turns out to be a passionate singer-songwriter. Deeply moved by his songs, Yva listens to his voice in the darkness. But it’s an unexpected Post-it on her door that brings them closer together. What follows are countless WhatsApp messages and song lyrics—gradually, Yva and Fenn fall a little more in love with each message. If only there wasn’t this one thing Fenn is trying to hide from Yva...
Broken Artist meets The Girl Next Door in the start of Rebekka Weiler’s new New Adult series. The Dein SPIEGEL-bestselling author takes readers on a journey to picturesque Sweden, where Yva and Fenn experience a love story full of feel-good vibes and heartfelt moments.
