Mirjam Pressler
Mirjam Pressler was born in 1940. She studied at the Academy of Creative Arts in Frankfurt. Mirjam Pressler is a renowned writer of books for children and adolescents. Moreover, she works as a translator from several languages, Dutch and Hebrew among them. She has also lived and worked in Israel. In 2001, Mirjam Pressler received the award for Children's and Adolescents' Literature by the German Academy.
