Ian has seen them many times - the “brane” that burn everything they get in touch with. These lights entered our world and will burn everything down. Ian holds on to his mission: He will fight and banish these angry spirits revenging all those who were killed in the fire.

From New York he sets out to Buenos Aires together with his best friend Bpm. He hopes to find important information there and a man who seems to be closely connected to the beings of light: Brian Cox.

When meeting Chiyo, a girl from Japan, is seems at first that they have found a comrade-in-arms. Just like Ians grandfather, Chiyos grandfather was also involved in the secret experiments on gravitation that took place on the USS Eldridge in the 1950ies.

Unwillingly had the scientists opened a small gap to the universe during their experiments which allowed millions of the light beings to enter our world. The consequence is fatal: Our world is gradually changing because of the presence of these alien beings – plants, animals and atoms are altered. Like an evil disease the “ghost infection” is spreading throughout the world.

The world seems to be lost. Only a very brave undertaking can still save the world: Ian plans to change dimensions in order to fight for the existence of our world. But all of a sudden he is having second thoughts: Bpm and Chiyo seem to follow their own plans. In a final showdown on the USS Eldridge Ian wins at last.
