Franziska Gehm: The Vampire Sisters - A Difficult Mission (Vol. 3)
Things are not looking good for vampires! A mysterious bout of infludenta has broken out in Transylvania, causing their fangs to shrink dangerously. The only remedy is the boiled extract of a rare plant that grows on the grave of a mighty vampire slayer. The problem is that neither humans nor vampires can pick the plant, as in its raw form it's highly poisonous to both species. The only ones with a chance of success are the half-vampires Daka and Silvania, so together with their new friends Helene and Ludo they set out on a mission to rescue the vampire population. There are many obstacles to be overcome, but the group finally returns with the plant. Not before time, as Silvania has fallen head over heels and has a date with Jakob to go to. How embarrassing that her crazy vampire relatives should put in an appearance at this critical stage in the relationship - and decide to show themselves in their very worst light. The half-vampire sisters may be twins, but they couldn't be more different. They both have traits the reader can identify with: Daka, the daredevil and rebel, likes to break the rules and would fly back to Transylvania tomorrow given the chance; Silvania, the quieter, dreamy sister, likes reading romantic novels and would really prefer to be human.
