Finally, the summer vacations have come! Clara is most of all looking forward to her riding tour. Together with her friends she will be on tour with the ponies. But then Rufus, the nephew of the stables' owner Mr. Wedel, announces that he'll accompany them. Clara doesn't like this idea at all: Rufus is arrogant and a terrible know-it-all. However, minutes before the start he decides not to come with them after all. The group takes off in very good humour, but then they get lost in the woods. Suddenly, they hear a horse neighing! It's Witch, Crumb's best pony-friend! Crumb follows her out of the woods, and when the friends return home, a surprise awaits them: Rufus has prepared a party for them all! Thus the riding tour becomes a success - and in the end, Rufus even gives Clara a necklace with a pony-amulet.
