Jan Birck
was born in 1963 in Munich and attended the College for Design. In 1985, he founded an advertising agency and was the Art Director of the international comic production "Pico & Columbus" in 1990/91. Since 1992, he has been working as a freelance illustrator for several publishing houses. He especially enjoys illustrating children's books. Jan Birck is married and has one son.
