Harald Parigger was born in Würzburg in 1953 where he also went to university. He finished university with a PhD in history. Afterwards he became a teacher, then worked in the "House of History" in Munich and now is headmaster of a grammar school in Bavaria. Apart from children's fiction he writes crime stories.
